The second annual gala, hosted by the Garner Mid-Day Rotary Club Foundation, will take place on Saturday, Nov. 13 at 7 p.m., at the Grand Marquise Ballroom in Garner, as the community comes together to raise funds for local youth.
Dance the night away to music by DJ Mike Morse of G105FM's Bob & The Showgram, and find out if yours is the lucky ticket that wins $2,500 cash or a 1.08-carat round brilliant diamond, donated by Swift's Fine Jewelry of Knightdale.
A Frigidaire front-load washer and dryer set is among the prizes up for bid during the gala's live and silent auctions, along with a Duke basketball autographed by the 2010 NCAA Championship Team, Angus Barn gift basket and more.
Proceeds of Black, White & Bling Gala benefit the Backpack Buddies program, supplying weekly allotments of food to underprivileged children in Garner elementary schools.
"Don't miss your chance to strut your best bling, all for a good cause!" said Gala Chair Julie Clark. "Enjoy a great evening, while helping us raise funds and awareness of the needs of local children."
Gala tickets are $75 each, and include dinner and chances to win the diamond or cash prize. To purchase tickets online, or for more information, visit http://www.garnerblackwhiteandblinggala.org or call Clark at (919) 271-2618.
