PHILADELPHIA, PA, June 27, 2013 (Press-News.org) Adelphia Restaurant offers customers a variety of delicious food options. Their menu has items to satisfy almost every taste. Fox News recently posted an article highlighting May as National Burger Month. In response to the burgers featured in the article, Adelphia Restaurant comments on its own tasty and affordable burger options.
In honor of National Burger Month, Chef Clifford Crooks provides a variety of different burger recipes to celebrate. The first burger described in the article is the Miso Hungry Burger. This is a Japanese-inspired recipe. The basis of the burger is a six ounce patty covered in Monterey Jack cheese and Miso Russian dressing. The dressing is made with white Miso, Dijon mustard, and Sriracha hot sauce. Mushrooms seasoned with soy, ginger, and Thai chili are carefully spooned on, and then tempura-battered deep-fried onion rings are the final touch. They are included right on top of the burger. Chef Crooks recommends waiting for the water to come out of mushrooms so that they caramelize better.
The second burger featured is the Ultimelt Burger. The article mentions that Chef Crooks was inspired by his love of grilled cheese on rye. The bun is actually two grilled cheese sandwiches. Between the sandwiches is a six ounce burger topped with balsamic caramelized onions and Go Burger sauce. The sauce is a combination of mayonnaise, ketchup, and relish.
Chef David Myers of Los Angeles contributes the next selection. His Breakfast Pork Burger combines the love of breakfast with a meal for lunch. Ground pork is seasoned with fennel seeds, coriander seeds, black peppercorn, mustard seed, and salt. Patties are formed and grilled. They are placed on a bun made from a toasted English muffin, and topped with a pork-based gravy. A sunny-side-up egg is added on top and the burger is complete. Salt and pepper are added to taste.
Combining two summertime favorites creates the Mac n' Cheese Burger. A fried mac n' cheese patty is formed from elbow macaroni mixed with bechamel sauce. Patties are formed and then deep fried. Building this masterpiece takes several steps. First a burger patty is placed on the bun. It is topped with cheddar cheese, caramelized onions, and bacon. Next the mac n' cheese patty is added and finished off with smoked ketchup. Finally, top it off with the top of the bun.
The last burger showcased by the article is the Naked Veggie Burger. This option appeals to vegetarians as it contains no meat. The patty is made from chickpeas, parsley, and other spices. It is topped with hummus and Tzatziki-style yogurt sauce. Consumers can also place lettuce, tomato, and onion on top.
Adelphia Restaurant offers its own tempting burger selections at affordable prices. "The Adelphia features some very popular $5 burgers," confirms a spokesman for the restaurant. "This special takes place on Tuesdays. Customers can get a hamburger, cheeseburger, or turkey burger with french fries, coleslaw, a pickle. In addition to the burger specials, we also have many popular burgers on our regular menu. They are available seven days a week. The Adelphia Burger and the Jersey Burger are very popular. They are piled high and quite impressive when they reach the customer. They are still cost effective at $9.95 and also include french fries, coleslaw, and a pickle." Adelphia Restaurant offers its customers a casual, family dining experience.
