MONTREAL, CANADA, June 27, 2013 (Press-News.org) The Global Art League announces it has opened submissions for the annual International Winter Exhibition of Emerging Artists. The exhibition will be held in the galleries of the Montreal Art Centre from 1st to 21st December 2013. Open to Global Art League members over the age of 18 from around the world, the exhibition will feature over 100 selected entrants who will be eligible to be judged among the three best in the exhibition and share a prize of $1000.
With the aim of supporting and highlighting emerging visual artists, the inaugural exhibition will feature work from
representatives of a wide range of artistic disciplines. After the initial exhibition, artwork will remain on display for
one year via the Global Art League's "virtual gallery" on screens around North America and for sale on the Global Art
League's website.
By applying for membership of the Global Art League, applicants are entitled to one free submission to the
exhibition. Non-members can also submit art for a submission fee starting at $20. The deadline for registration is 15
