NEWTOWN SQUARE, PA, November 05, 2010 (Press-News.org) In the second novel of her Main Line mystery series published by Kay Square Press, Barbara K. Clement invites readers to venture beyond the Main Line to some of the world's most exotic locales. From the punishing tundra of Siberia to the enchanting and romantic environs of Paris, two exceptional women will be tested mentally, physically, and morally...as both women revisit their pasts in an effort to find their way home.

Jessica Rawlins confronts the ghosts of a past long hidden, leaving her comfortable suburban lifestyle behind, but finding herself in the process. While, socialite Charlotte Fallowell faces deeply buried family secrets and must find the fortitude to lead herself back to the safety that once existed in her bucolic Main Line sanctuary.

The Main Line has a rich history and a picturesque landscape, attracting Philadelphia's elite. It provides the perfect setting for Clement's mystery series. Barbara K. Clement retired from Villanova University in 2008 to begin her career writing novels nestled among the old affluent families of the Main Line. It is from this inside view that she crafts her mystery series complete with romance, deception, money, and family connections. Previously, Ms. Clement was an executive with Leslie Fay Inc., a multi-faceted fashion company; an intelligence officer for the U.S. government; and a syndicated columnist for the Newhouse National News Service and Chicago Sun Times/Daily News Wire Service. For 2 years, she served as a foreign correspondent, covering Europe for the wire services from a home in Amsterdam and offices at the Palais du Bourbon in Paris. Ms. Clement recently completed her third title in the mystery series, Main Liners III: Vortex of Secrets.
