RALEIGH, NC, November 05, 2010 (Press-News.org) The North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association (http://www.ncvma.org/) has announced that it will co-host the 15th Annual North Carolina Veterinary Conference (NCVC) with the N.C. State College of Veterinary Medicine from Friday, Nov. 5 through Sunday, Nov. 7 at the Raleigh Convention Center, located at 500 S. Salisbury St. The NCVC is the largest event of its kind in the Southeast region. It presents an opportunity for North Carolina veterinarians to earn continuing education hours and learn the latest research findings and information on a variety of topics, including animal acupuncture, animal welfare, business management techniques and more. Open to members of the veterinary profession, more than 1,100 are expected to attend this year's event.
The conference will feature an auction by N.C. State University's Student Chapter of the American Veterinary Medical Association, an Exhibitors' Reception on Friday evening and an NCVMA Town Hall meeting.
