RALEIGH, NC, August 25, 2010 (Press-News.org) Band Together NC, an all-volunteer nonprofit organization that uses music events to help raise funds and awareness for local charity partners, has announced that Trey Caudle has been appointed to its Board of Directors.
Caudle is a client executive in the commercial property and casualty division of Trisure. He is a Raleigh native with degrees in both business management and economics from N.C. State University. In his almost seven years of volunteering for Band Together, Caudle has helped set up charity concerts, served on the Steering Committee, and most recently served as event co-chair for this year's charity concert.
The May 22 Band Together NC concert event featuring Michael Franti & Spearhead helped raise more than $358,000 for StepUP Ministry, an interfaith nonprofit organization that teaches low-income and homeless people to become self-sufficient. Since 2001, the organization has raised more than $1 million for local charities.
"It's hard for me to imagine the great success we've achieved over the years without Trey's contributions and hard work," said Danny Rosin, president of Band Together NC. "His enthusiasm for music and helping others is contagious, and I know he will be a great asset to our board."
Band Together NC is in the process of selecting its charity partners for both 2011 and 2012, and will announce its choices sometime this fall.

Metal Roof Snow Guards
2010-08-25
Snow guards should never be used as a quick solution to situations that can be litigious and a costly nightmare to the owner. Despite being a small component of building needs, snow guards should be taken seriously and custom solutions should be considered a necessity.
Snow retention systems are strongly recommended for metal roofs specifically. Unlike other roof materials, metal roofing is highly vulnerable to snow falling off without warning. Other common issues include sliding ice curling into windows, damage to roof and sheathing from falling snow/ice onto lower ...
