HAZLET, NJ, August 25, 2010 (Press-News.org) Comrise is launching a Community Efforts Committee to initiate and plan effective ways of bettering the community. This Committee will function under the lead of Mansi Patel, a new Leadership in Training Program hire. Mansi comes from a long history of community involvement both from her school and previous work experiences. At Rutgers University Mansi was highly involved in Big Buddy, in which she taught and mentored local New Brunswick Elementary School students. As the Corporate Communications Intern at Liz Claiborne, Inc., Mansi helped manage Liz's Love Is Not Abuse campaign, which promoted the education of teen and domestic violence in homes and the work place. While community involvement is at a relative low in Hazlet, NJ Comrise, with the help of Mansi, is looking to change that.
Statistics show a shift in priorities for the average American regarding which issues they feel are the most important for companies to address. Research done by VolunteerMatch.org shows that Americans would like to see 80% of companies' efforts focused on education and economic development. Issues such as health and wellness follow very closely, ranked as important by 79% of Americans.
Sincia Liu, President of Comrise states, "We are company made by the people, for the people. We are fortunate to be in the service industry and look forward to any opportunity to share our success and contribute to the betterment of our society. We started with the humble origins of Hazlet, NJ and want to focus our energy on supporting and improving our community first and foremost. Not only are we a leader in the staffing industry, but we look forward to also be a leader in our community and encourage other local businesses to join us in our efforts." Comrise wants to be able to help not only on a local level and also leverage our global presence to help communities outside the U.S.
Comrise will be holding its first official Community Committee meeting on August 25, 2010, which will serve as a first step towards a long journey of community involvement ahead. During this first official meeting, the Community Committee will launch the Comrise Community Outreach Program in order to begin taking action on the goals delineated by the Community Committee. Comrise is certain that the Community Outreach Program will serve as a model to other organizations interested in social responsibility to take steps toward bettering the community economically, educationally, environmentally, and beyond.

Other common issues include sliding ice curling into windows, damage to roof and sheathing from falling snow/ice onto lower ...
