Stonewood Grill & Tavern selects vendor for new companywide uniforming program

Mid-Florida Sportswear outbid four companies to provide sleeker, contemporary look

2010-11-10
JACKSONVILLE, FL, November 10, 2010 (Press-News.org) Guests frequenting Stonewood Grill & Tavern will notice the restaurant's staff is newly adorned in sleeker, more contemporary attire.

Stonewood Grill & Tavern selected Mid-Florida Sportswear Inc. as its preferred vendor for companywide uniforms. The new uniforms, which consist of a non-unisex, all-black design, go hand-in-hand with the restaurant's recent efforts to evolve its brand. In the past, Stonewood Grill & Tavern staff sported unisex khaki pants and pinstripe oxford shirts.

"We wanted a sleeker, sexier, trendier, more contemporary look that has a classier feel to it than the previous staff attire, and Mid-Florida Sportswear helped us achieve our goal," said Colette McBride, Stonewood Grill & Tavern's vice president of finance and accounting, who handled the bidding process for Stonewood.

After an extensive bidding process, Stonewood Grill & Tavern selected Mid-Florida Sportswear due to its track record of working with multi-unit restaurant groups, as well as its ability to offer convenient online ordering.

Mid-Florida Sportswear will supply uniforms to Stonewood Grill & Tavern's 16 Florida locations and its location in Cary, N.C.
