teliad launches the RankingScore

teliad, an international service provider in the SEO field, has today launched the RankingScore, a new measured value for the ranking quality of web pages.

2010-11-11
STUTTGART, GERMANY, November 11, 2010 (Press-News.org) The evaluation of web pages for link building is not simple for SEOs. The Google PageRank is considered to be an important target variable for the evaluation of web pages. However, this is not sufficient (any longer) for the evaluation of a URL and therefore cannot be referred to alone for judging the quality of web pages. Numerous further data must additionally be taken into consideration. There are various approaches and instruments for judging the quality of a URL, e.g. the PageRank or the outgoing or incoming backlinks of a web page. However, these data do not provide any information about whether this web page can demonstrate a good ranking quality. The ranking of a web page is, however, the crucial factor in the evaluation of a domain in search engine optimisation. SEOs must investigate and check the rankings of keywords individually. Since this information must be individually researched for each domain, however, the research work is time-consuming. Until now there has been no measured variable for search engine optimisation that helped in evaluating the ranking of a web page. For these reasons, teliad has developed the RankingScore, with the objective of creating a measured value of the ranking quality of web pages. "In the past months we have been working intensively on a measured value that can reliably indicate the ranking quality of a URL. The RankingScore will help search engine optimisers to better judge the quality of web pages. This will considerably simplify both the evaluation of a web page and the selection of suitable backlinks. We are convinced that the RankingScore will develop into a major measured value in the SEO industry," says Andreas Armbruster, CEO of teliad.

The RankingScore is an analysis value of the Google ranking of a URL. In order to determine the RankingScore, the keywords for which the URL can demonstrate a ranking are checked. In doing so, it is taken into account how strongly a keyword is contested. The number of ranked keywords is also taken into account. It is therefore not just a simple addition of the number of ranked keywords, but rather an algorithm that incorporates this information, weighted, into the RankingScore calculation.

The RankingScore is thus a variable that represents how strongly a URL is ranked in Google. It is not comparable with the various visibility indices available on the market, which regard a domain in its entirety. These visibility indices do not provide information about how strongly a specific URL is ranked in Google or what value a URL has in Google. The RankingScore thus helps among other things in evaluating the possible quality and strength of a backlink from this specific URL.

The RankingScore can be determined for each URL in the languages German, English, Spanish, French or Italian. It is not limited to web pages on the teliad text link marketplace. The RankingScore can also be used without a customer account. It can be queried on the web page free of charge:
