This year, the resort has also created guest and community-oriented events centered on the characters, happenings and setting of Frank Capra's iconic holiday movie and American Film Institute classic, "It's a Wonderful Life" - which he wrote while staying at his favorite La Quinta casita!

The resort's Main Plaza will be reminiscent of "Bedford Falls" on Thursday, Friday and Saturday of each week, with carolers, entertainment and live mannequins in the shop windows.

Bell Ringing every day in the Plaza - based on "Every time a bell rings an angel gets his wings." When selected lucky guests will receive special resort-related gifts.

"It's A Wonderful Wish" resort-themed raffle prize wreaths will be displayed in the lobby with proceeds from raffle tickets going to local charities.

"Potter's" cigars can be rolled onsite near Adobe Grill.

Hundreds of luminarias decorated by local school children will be on display.

Each Saturday evening will feature a mini tree lighting ceremony.

Complimentary showing of "It's a Wonderful Life" every Saturday evening at 8pm in the resort's theater.
