zvelo Hires David Duncan as VP of Engineering

Successful Engineering Executive to lead engineering and software development efforts

GREENWOOD VILLAGE, CO, November 11, 2010 (Press-News.org) zvelo, Inc., a leader in secure web filtering database, website categorization and reputation services has hired David Duncan as VP of Engineering. Duncan will oversee engineering and will be responsible for leading software development efforts within the company.

Duncan's hiring comes at a time of significant growth for zvelo, which recently surpassed 60 OEM partners for its SiteFilter secure web filtering product. OEM partners include end-point security and anti-virus vendors, mobile service providers, UTM and network security vendors, ISPs, MSSPs and more.

As VP of Engineering, Duncan will oversee zvelo's AutoCategorization and Malicious Website Detection engineering efforts as well as zvelo's Threat Prevention Team.

Duncan brings over 20 years of experience to zvelo including a VP role at NextPlane, a director role at Computer Associates, and engineering roles at Healtheon/WebMD and cc:Mail/Lotus.
