Today in America Hosted by Terry Bradshaw announces a new episode featuring ineedmd

2010-11-11
LAKE WORTH, FL, November 11, 2010 (Press-News.org) The producers of Today In America hosted by Terry Bradshaw are pleased to announce that ineedmd will be featured in an upcoming episode.
Portable, citizen-operated defibrillator devices are now quite common in restaurants, stores, offices and workplaces. But if a health emergency should occur, the vital signs of the heart can tell a medical professional a lot about what was happening to the patient. Now, there is such an emergency device to acquire, record and transmit electrocardiogram, or ECG, data.

The EKG Glove is a disposable device built into the shape of a mitt with ten embedded ECG sensors (electrodes) and corresponding printed circuits. Provided with the system are: the EKG Glove, an Interface Box about the size of a deck of playing cards, the cable for connecting to a laptop computer and Analytical Software to be loaded onto a laptop computer, PDA or mobile phone.

"The EKG Glove can generate and send a complete diagnostic twelve-lead electrocardiogram (ECG) directly to a computer or mobile device on which ineedmd's proprietary software is installed," says Govindan Gopinathan MD, Co-Inventor and Co-Founder of ineedmd. "As demonstrated in the clinical trials to date, the EKG Glove produces consistent reliable ECG waveforms and data that are equivalent by FDA standards to those produced using a conventional ECG machine that records ECG data on paper."
