Wellness Center in NH Getting Ready for Holidays with Free Pilates

This free class is a slow-paced, no-impact class, designed for every level, to show how this class will help strengthen core muscles, improve balance, and increase flexibility. proper body mechanics. Students are encouraged to come prepared to move with comfortable clothing, water, and a soft mat.

Pilates classes at Healing Hands Chiropractic are taught by Brenda Caldwell. Brenda Caldwell holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Dance from Eastern Michigan University and is a certified Pilates instructor (Aerobics & Fitness Association of
America). Her knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology has given her the confidence to teach all ages and to develop safe and challenging classes. After starting her family and moving to New Hampshire in 1982, she opened Local Motion, offering fitness classes for pre-natal women, new mothers, and children from infancy to 5 years
of age. Her teaching experience also includes aerobics, stretch and tone, and Pilates. Students in her Pilates classes have ranged in age from 18-70+ with varying levels of ability. She is passionate about her belief that personal fitness not only builds strong and healthy bodies, but enhances one's quality of daily life. She trains her students to
become more "in tune" with their bodies and encourages them to set individual goals and to work within their own limitations. In her free time, Brenda enjoys being with family, reading, visiting her summer place on Prince Edward Island, and downhill skiing with her husband.
