Local Asheville Artist Diane English Expands Business to Europe

Asheville Artist Diane English has been the creative genius behind The Great Cosmic Happy-Ass Card Company since 1996. In 2010 she will expand her card distribution to Europe.

ASHEVILLE, NC, November 12, 2010 (Press-News.org) Diane English, creator of The Great Cosmic Happy-Ass Card Company, in Weaverville, NC recently added a European distributor for her greeting cards. Her line is currently distributed to independent bookstores and galleries in the U.S. and Canada and also available on the Internet at http://www.greatcosmichappyass.com. "This is a wonderful opportunity to expand the reach of my cards." "Cards," she says with a smile, "that are purchased by brilliant, self aware and courageous people."

Since 1996 Diane English has been creating her cards. As a one-woman shop, Diane has stayed true to her vision of creating cards that are funny, inspiring and wacky "just for the joy of it". Her designs stem from her own experiences along the ever-winding road of spirituality in it's many forms. Diane's discovery that chocolate holds the promise of peace and life eternal is the basis of her work. "There is nothing serious going on here." Diane adds, "We're all on a path of self-discovery and I've simply put mine in cartoon form."

Diane also opens her studio for business by appointment throughout the year, and also participates with the studio tours during the Weaverville Art Safari.
