BROOKFIELD, WI, February 19, 2014 (Press-News.org) Concurrency, Inc., a K2 Partner and the 2012 Microsoft Central Region Partner of the Year, is presenting at the sold-out 2014 K2 User Conference in Las Vegas. The conference, titled "Fast FWD," will be held March 1-2 at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.
Concurrency's presentation is based on practical field experience architecting and integrating K2 software for clients. "Software from K2 is like the glue that bonds together the processes in various line-of-business applications while operating on the Microsoft platform," said Bill Bigus, Concurrency's Business Productivity Practice Director and Chief Architect.
Bigus continued, "The result is more predictable and higher quality work processes where real progress can be measured. Most business processes don't involve just one person using a single software system. For example, running a marketing campaign requires work be performed by some people using a CRM system while others are using a campaign management system. Or consider employee on-boarding: it's highly unlikely that all the steps of this complex process can be managed by only using your HR system. K2 creates value by finding and closing process gaps."
Mark Rentmeester, Senior Solution Architect and Business Process Management Lead at Concurrency, will deliver the presentation on March 2 as part of the "FWD Thinking" conference series. The title is "Client Solution Lifecycle from Proposal to Project Close." Rentmeester will focus on how Concurrency is optimizing multi-team solution delivery using K2, SharePoint and Dynamics CRM.
The K2 User Conference immediately precedes Microsoft's annual SharePoint Conference, to be held in Las Vegas from March 3-6. Concurrency architects and engineers are also participating in the Microsoft event.
