Portland Good Feet Offers Free Podiatrist Foot Exams To Local Community

Good Feet brings free foot health awareness to local community on March 8, 2014. Event will feature complimentary foot examinations by licensed podiatrist Dr. Robert Geister, DPM.

2014-02-28
PORTLAND, OR, February 28, 2014 (Press-News.org) Good Feet Worldwide, LLC., an international retailer of custom-fitted arch support, announced their upcoming Foot Check event in Portland.

An estimated 87 percent of the general population suffers from foot-related problems, most of which can be linked to improper support for flat feet or high arches, wearing improper footwear, walking or standing on hard surfaces for long periods of time, being overweight or suffering from sports injuries. While many people looking for relief turn to the various arch supports and cushion products they see in retailers like drug and grocery stores, Good Feet takes the process to another level.

Good Feet Portland offers a non-medical solution to relieving foot pain, heel pain and plantar fasciitis through arch supports, insoles and cushions. As an alternative to painful medical visits, customers have found immediate relief from foot pain, heel pain, back pain and plantar fasciitis in Portland through the use of the Good Feet arch supports.

"There are so many people in our community suffering from foot, back, and knee pain. This is our way to help them become pain free," said Dan Austad, owner of the Good Feet Stores in Oregon. "We're excited to bring our favorite Podiatrist, Dr. Geister, to the Clackamas community and bring him people who really need a solution to their pain."

Good Feet takes health issues seriously by offering free foot health examinations to their customers. They want their community to be able to resolve foot related issues by offering them time with a Podiatrist, followed by a custom fitting.

The event will be held at the Clackamas location on 82nd Ave and Johnson Creek Blvd. next to Fred Meyers. The Podiatrist will be giving free foot examinations from 11am to 3pm and it is first come, first serve. Customers may sign up at the store prior to the event and they will be given a foot scan before seeing the Podiatrist.
