ASD Inc. Names Jacobs CFO

Fast-Growing Spectroscopy Solutions Provider Staffs Up to Meet Global Demand for High-Performance Materials Measurement

BOULDER, CO, November 13, 2010 (Press-News.org) ASD Inc., the global leader in high-performance analytical instrumentation and material measurement solutions, today announced Patricia Jacobs has joined the company as chief financial officer.

In this newly formed position, Jacobs is responsible for all of ASD's accounting, financial planning, analysis, capital structure, tax and treasury functions. She also oversees human resources at the company.

Jacobs is a seasoned financial leader, with two decades of experience at companies spanning the manufacturing, services and software industries, a key mix of experience for ASD. Most recently, she served as CFO for oil field services company Advantage Drilling Fluids, Inc. where she was a key participant in the company's start-up, development and acquisition. Jacobs also held senior management positions with Halliburton Company, where she was responsible for regional financial and accounting management, along with forecasting, planning and internal controls.

"Patty's experience in contributing to the strategic, financial and profitability goals of high-growth companies is a strong complement to ASD's leadership team," ASD CEO David Rzasa said.
