Cape Coral Real Estate Company, The Aubuchon Team of Companies, holds their 12th annual "Helping Hands for the Holidays" fund raising event, to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Southern Florida and other charities.

CAPE CORAL, FL, November 13, 2010 (Press-News.org) Cape Coral Real Estate Company, The Aubuchon Team of Companies, will be kicking off the holidays with their 12th annual "Helping Hands for the Holidays" Charity event at the Team Aubuchon Building on Monday, November 22, 2010 from 5:30pm - 7:30pm. The event will feature a variety of holiday entertainment, including performances by local youth and musicians, a visit from Santa, donated food from area restaurants, and a tree lighting at 6:30pm. Proceeds will go to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Southern Florida, the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Southwest Florida, and Builders Care of Lee County, a non-profit division of the Lee Building Industry Association.

"Last year's event was very successful, with close to 300 people in attendance and more than $10,000 raised for local charities." said Diane VanArsdale. "We are looking forward to making this year an even greater success!"

The 2010 "Helping Hands for the Holidays" fund raising event will feature performances of Christmas carols by Middle School students from Evangelical Christian School in Fort Myers. It will also feature solos and duets by two very talented high school students from North Fort Myers High Center for Arts and Media, Haley Ondrejka and Trevor Schmidt. Trevor is currently also performing at the Broadway Palm Dinner Theater in the cast of "HairSpray". In addition to the students' performances, Mario D'Artagnan, a real estate agent with Team Aubuchon, will be providing Christmas music on the keyboard.

Food for the event will be provided by local restaurants including Bubba's Roadhouse, The Twisted Conch, Wine & Roses, The Joint, RumRunners, The Resort at Marina Village, and others. Individual donors and area subcontractors will also be donating food for this year's event.
