SANFORD, NC, March 13, 2014 (Press-News.org) Central Carolina Hospital (CCH), a 137-bed facility located in Sanford, NC, announced last week the hiring of David E. Loving, as new Chief Executive Officer. Current CEO Doug Doris is set to retire April 4th.
Loving officially joined the team on March 3, 2014. Loving has over 24 years in executive positions at various hospitals throughout the southeast. Most recently, Loving was the CEO of Hugh Chatham Memorial Hospital in Elkin, NC.
"His experience in strategic growth and fiscal responsibility, and his interpersonal skills are vital to carry out Central Carolina Hospital's mission in the community" said Doris.
Loving holds a bachelor's degree from Furman University and a Master of Business Administration from Indiana State University. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).
Loving started at CCH during a time when the hospital is experiencing tremendous growth. CCH currently has over 135 providers on staff, with physicians in many different specialty areas. The hospital has a commitment to quality, patient safety, physician and nursing excellence, and providing excellent patient centered care. Loving's extensive background in hospital operations is a clear fit for continued excellence at CCH.
