KITCHENER, ON, March 13, 2014 (Press-News.org) NSP Maritime Link Inc. (NSPML), a subsidiary of Emera Inc., has selected Coreworx as the document and information control solution for the Maritime Link Transmission Project between Newfoundland, Labrador, and Nova Scotia.
The project team will use Coreworx Interface Management, Project Information Control, and Deliverables Management software packages to manage, track, and report on the project's document needs. This includes official documentation on engineering, environment, permitting and all other project specific information.
NSPML will design, engineer, construct and commission the Maritime Link, a new 500 MW, +/-200 to 250kV high voltage direct current (HVDC) electrical interconnection between the island of Newfoundland to Nova Scotia and the North American transmission grid.
