The new EXF-RC15 digital, high-speed IO module by Unitronics adds an elevated level of flexibility to the Vision series PLC + HMI product line, and can be easily configured via their FREE software to fit a variety of motion control related applications where a mixture of high speed and general purpose inputs and outputs are required. Compatible with the Unitronics Vision products via CANbus, this new IO module features 9 digital inputs 6 digital outputs (4 transistor outputs with high speed capability, and 2 relay outputs). The EXF-RC15 supports up to 3 High Speed Counter (HSC) or Shaft Encoder input channels, at up to 200KHz. Additionally, it supports up to 4 Pulse Width Modulators (PWM) outputs or up to 3 Pulse Train Outputs (PTO), at 200KHz max, that can be used for accurate Step-motor control. It has never been easier to output your exact position using Unitronics Controllers.
This new and enhanced combination of features enables engineers and systems integrators to benefit from a powerful, upgraded IO module within a bare minimum of budget, cabinet space, and wiring.
