BIRMINGHAM, ENGLAND, March 20, 2014 (Press-News.org) A new chapter in mobile gaming, World Football 2014 brings the feel of classic football games to mobile devices whilst retaining the fast-paced action of the modern football game. The retro visual style harks back to the golden era of football gaming whilst the sharp, nimble game play displays an admiration of football in its current form, whilst world-renowned commentator John Motson will provide commentary for the game. The recently launched IndieGoGo campaign promises to take the project worldwide whilst providing contributors with exciting opportunities.
World Football 2014 features numerous game modes, allowing a unique and immersive gaming experience. World Tournament mode offers a traditional international tournament format while in the World League mode a currency system is utilised allowing users to upgrade player stats, overcome injuries faster and much more. Scenarios mode will put players in the shoes of real life events and additional scenarios will be made available for download during the course of the summer based on the Brazil 2014 World Cup. Creative Director of Team Football, Steven Huckle has stated that "We hope to bring enjoyment to football fans across the world, by giving regular updates and keeping up-to-date with real life scenarios".
About Team Football
World Football 2014 is being developed by a group of games industry veterans. All members of the development, production and design teams have been involved in some of the best loved football games of the last 20 years including Sensible Soccer, Super Kick-Off, Actua Soccer, Premier Manager, Soccer '97 and versions of FIFA.
The 10k we are hoping to raise through the IndieGoGo crowd fund campaign will be used to attain the support of illustrious personalities from the game (John Motson is already on board), acquire official licensed products and localise the game in numerous languages. Team Football also gives the benefactor a chance to have an active part in the development, promotion, receive merchandise and/or be part of the credits.
