Crab Run 2014 to open at Fresno Fairgrounds

Crab Run & Seafood Festival is set to open to the West Coast, Fresno on April 26, 2014.

FRESNO, CA, March 21, 2014 (Press-News.org) Announcing the annual Crab Run & Seafood Festival with stops throughout the United States. The festival opens to the West Coast April 26, 2014.

The Crab Run & Seafood Festival is the official season kickoff of Pacific Fisheries LLC and is an annual toast of the seafood season in America. It is a one-day sensational crab tasting, mainly crab with chef demos, educational events and family fun. Opening weekend takes place Saturday, April 26, 2014 and will be held, rain or shine, at the Fresno Fairgrounds located at 1121 S Chance Ave, Fresno, CA 93702. The event runs 12:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Pacific Fisheries is a group of West Coast seafood companies and "crabaholics" who share a passion for all things seafood. Pacific Fisheries supports local communities through various charities where the company operates. Our goal is to use our love for seafood to raise money to fight hunger, support education and empower local youth.

The Pacific Fisheries LLC hopes to share the pacific waters outstanding seafood bounty with locals and visitors alike. The Crab Run & Seafood Festival includes an all-day crab feed with Dungeness crabs and all the fixings. Attendees can sample a variety of other seafood dishes from local restaurants. Other features include chefs' demonstrations, local artists, live DJs, and a crab picking contest.

Tickets can be purchased on the organization's website, http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/612626. Ticket prices are $75/$100 for adults. Net proceeds benefit the Pacific Fisheries LLC.
