NORTH PORT, FL, March 23, 2014 (Press-News.org) "Thank You America - It was really great to receive my Award for 'Best Blues Artist' in The Artists In Music Awards on Feb 8th. Influenced by some of the great rock and blues players such as Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton and Freddie King. Sewell worked as a session player in most of the major London Studios including the Legendary Abbey Road before finally going solo in November 2010. A return to his roots has seen him widely recognised as one of the great emerging British guitar talents currently riding the wave of New British Blues gaining popularity in the U.S.A.

Sewell, a four times Hollywood Award Winner and British Blues Awards
Nominee, recently saw his album 'Calling Your Name' spend a staggering 7 weeks at number one on the American Blues Scene Chart and his visibility increase dramatically on both sides of the Atlantic.

Sewell said, "I really couldn't be happier with the reaction to the new 'Independence' album which entered the Radio Caroline top ten this week. We're currently getting enquiries from all over the world and it's just amazing how so many people seem to be helping to spread the word - we just can't wait to get back out on tour."

The Trevor Sewell Band will be playing a string of European Festivals in 2014 to promote the 'Independence' album and will return to the U.S in November.
