COLUMBIA, MD, November 16, 2010 (Press-News.org) Board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Eric Chang (www.columbiaaesthetic.com) recently launched an updated website with a new look and new features. Dr. Chang is working to ensure that everyone who visits his plastic surgery practice in Baltimore feels educated, informed, and confident about their decisions. His updated website is one of the important ways he is furthering this goal.
More and more people are looking online for information about plastic surgeons and plastic surgery. While some of these online resources - from non-profit boards and associations, for example - is reliable, much of what people will find is inaccurate and slanted. Dr. Chang explains that his website was created to provide a clear and realistic message about procedures, recovery, and possible results, as well as things to look for in a surgeon.
"I know how difficult it can be for people to get reliable, unbiased, and trustworthy information about plastic surgery," says Dr. Chang. "That's why I first built my website. Since then, things have changed - in both plastic surgery and the Internet. So, I thought it was time for me to take another look, with the goal of improving the experience and the educational content."
Dr. Chang is a plastic surgeon who performs both cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery. This includes breast enhancement, facial plastic surgery, body contouring, non-surgical services, and reconstructive procedures. Some his most popular options include eyelid surgery, liposuction, abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) and breast augmentation in Baltimore.
"What people will find on my website is a variety of resources about plastic surgery in general and about my practice specifically," Dr. Chang explains. "There are pages about my credentials, procedures, and the latest news, as well as much more. In my opinion, one of the most helpful resources that people will find there is my photo gallery. The before and after photos can help people get an idea of the kind of changes that are possible through plastic surgery, and judge the quality of my surgical skill for themselves."
"While I have received an advanced education and practiced for many years, I also understand the importance of continuing to bring a fresh approach to my practice," adds Dr. Chang. "Staying current and up-to-date means, among other things, utilizing modern ways of communicating. Right now, the Web is one of the primary ways I can reach out to people, and I hope to expand the features on my site even more in the months to come."
Dr. Eric Chang (www.columbiaaesthetic.com) is a board-certified plastic surgeon who performs reconstructive and cosmetic enhancement procedures at his practice, Columbia Aesthetic Plastic Surgery serving the Greater Baltimore area. After earning his Medical Doctorate from Columbia University's prestigious College of Physicians and Surgeons, he completed residencies in general and plastic surgery at Stanford University. He has been recognized as a "Top Doc" by Frederick Magazine and holds surgical privileges at multiple hospitals in Maryland.
