The BizWorld Foundation Announces Education Luncheon Honoring Ron Conway of Angel Investors

The BizWorld Foundation, a national non-profit organization dedicated to teaching entrepreneurship, business and finance to children, will host a fundraising Luncheon on Tuesday, December 14th at the St. Regis Hotel in San Francisco.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA, November 16, 2010 (Press-News.org) The 7th Annual BizWorld Luncheon supports business education in the classroom. The key event of the year is attended by the Bay Area's leading CEOs and Silicon Valley venture capitalists. This year BizWorld will honor Ron Conway, Founder and Managing Partner of Angel Investors, for his true entrepreneurial and innovative spirit.

"Ron Conway is an amazing visionary and we are honored to have him speak on behalf of The BizWorld Foundation," remarked Harry Gould. "Today, arguably more than ever, it is crucial that our kids have a grounding in business and finance. The support of Mr. Conway and all those attending the luncheon take us one step closer to reaching our goals."

The event will bring together some of the Bay Area's most influential and best-known business leaders for an afternoon focusing on the importance of inspiring today's youth to be innovative leaders through the teaching of business, finance and entrepreneurship. Joining Ron will be Tim Draper, Founder and Chair Emeritus of The BizWorld Foundation and Managing Director of Draper Fisher Jurvetson as well as Harry Gould, Chairman of The BizWorld Foundation. There will be special appearances by the BizKids who will showcase their entrepreneurial skills and a celebrity guest, MC Hammer attending the luncheon.

Catherine Hutton Markwell, Chief Executive Officer of The BizWorld Foundation, notes, "Entrepreneurship is what our country is built on and what is currently solving some of our biggest world issues. The goal of BizWorld's programs is to foster the inherent entrepreneurial spirit that each child is born with in order to inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs, who like Ron, will continue to change the world with their innovative spirit."
