MONTREAL, QC, March 28, 2014 (Press-News.org) Matrox Graphics Inc. today announced the selection of Matrox Maevex 5100 Series H.264 encoders and decoders to the list of finalists for the 2014 SCN InfoComm Installation Product Awards in the Most Innovative Video Processing (Transport) category.
Matrox Maevex H.264 encoders and decoders extend Full HD-quality 1080p60 video and audio over standard IP networks at user definable bitrates between 100Kbps and 25Mbps. They are ideal for driving dynamic digital signage, delivering multimedia materials to different classrooms, and letting operators share desktop, video, and other content on collaborative video walls. Maevex encoders also support software-based decoding on non-Maevex devices and will soon include video recording to capture and store video/audio to a network shared drive or NAS. The flexible and innovative PowerStream software lets administrators remotely discover, manage and adjust encode/decode settings on a network of Maevex devices.
