REGINA, SK, April 03, 2014 (Press-News.org) Canadian Rock Band The Milkman's Sons concert at Western Pizza Glencarin Regina Saskatchewan, Canada got rave reviews from the fans and the club owner after playing to a packed house. They performed a mixture of classic to modern rock, and with some country and punk thrown in for good measure. Covering music from such bands as Tom Petty and the Heart Breakers, Ramones, The Rolling Stones, and The Foo Fighters, made sure everyone went away with having heard something they enjoyed.
"The Milkman's Sons put on a heck of a show here at Western Pizza Saturday night. They put together an aggressive promotional campaign that drew a capacity crowd, the best part - the advertising cost me nothing!" said club owner Jeff Berner. " The band entertained everyone with a wide range of classic rock, modern rock and country music all evening. The band's volume was perfect - loud enough that everyone could clearly hear the music but not too loud so that customers could still have a conversation. The Milkman's Sons are a very professional band. I've already booked then again."
Fans also had this to say about the show...
"The Milkman's Sons were awesome!!! Great song selection and Great Sound. Your staging was awesome too. We know how much work you guys had to do to put on such a polished performance right from the lights on down to the dance floor. Really good job folks, look forward to seeing you again!!!"
"What a cool way to spend a Saturday night - listening to some great music, catching up with friends - I hadn't seen in 30 years and sharing a cool one or two or three .... Thanks to all for making it one hell of a House Party!"
When ask about the show afterward, front man Kenny said "This was special because of who came out to see us play. Friends that I haven't seen in years and having a chance to catch up. It was packed and it turned into an awesome party. I'm one lucky guy who has such great band mates who cover all my mistakes and make me look and sound good. Thanks to Mickey Kupchyk, Terry Anaka, Carol Kingston, and special guest Brad W Papp for the smoking guitar licks. They rocked! The smile on my face tells you why I do this."
The Milkman's Sons are on their current "Lock-Up Your Mother" Tour.
