Increase in visitors reflects growing interest in efficacy research and assessment

Both the number of visitors and the number of page views has increased within the last 12 months.

There were nearly 100,000 visits to segmeasurement.com and nearly 350,000 page views on segmeasurement.com over the past 12 months. "The educational community is more interested in evidence-based education than ever before, and this has led educators to seek out more information about both product effectiveness research and assessment," said Scott Elliot, President of SEG Measurement. The increased interest in http://www.segmeasurement.com can be attributed to an increase in the amount of useful content on the site as well as growing educator interest. "SEG Measurement has added a number of new research and assessment reports to the website, based on our work over the past year," said Elliot. The expanded content includes several reports evaluating both print and digital tools used in the classroom.

SEG Measurement also shared its upcoming plans for the website. Given the growing use of mobile devices in education, SEG will be revamping its website to be more "mobile friendly."
