YORK, PA, April 07, 2014 (Press-News.org) The Material Handling Institute (MHI) has appointed two St. Onge principals to executive volunteer positions. Bryan Jensen, vice president and principal, St. Onge Co. (www.stonge.com), has been appointed to the MHI Roundtable. Al Reigart, vice president and principal, St. Onge Co., has been appointed to chairman of MHI's Supply Chain Execution Systems & Technologies Group. Jensen's appointment is for four years, Reigart's term is for two years.
Members of the roundtable provide counsel and insight to MHI officers. "The Material Handling Institute is the leader in offering education, networking and solution sourcing for its members, their customers and the industry as a whole," says Jensen. "We are thrilled to be able to play even a small part in that mission.
"
The task of the supply chain execution solution group is to study how to streamline "the tracking and flow of inventory and information from the original source through consumption," according to the MHI.
"The Supply Chain Execution Group are industry experts who engage in seeking ideas and solutions for improving the supply chain," says Reigart. "This allows us to make suggestions and work in a collaborative spirit, which helps move the industry forward with fresh ideas."
Jensen and Reigart have more than 60 years of combined experience offering counsel to dozens of Fortune 1000 companies on supply chain, material handling and logistics issues.
