Former Space Station and Shuttle Astronaut Ron Garan Joins BigSpeak Speakers Bureau as Exclusive Keynote and Motivational Speaker

Garan joins the bureau to share how his time on the NASA Space Station changed his perspective of human existence.

2014-04-09
SANTA BARBARA, CA, April 09, 2014 (Press-News.org) Recently retired NASA astronaut and US Fighter Pilot turned social entrepreneur, Col. Ron Garan, is adding "BigSpeak Exclusive" to his extensive repertoire. Earlier this month, the motivational speaker signed with BigSpeak, the West Coast's largest business-oriented speaking agency serving 60% of the Fortune 1000, to further his most daring undertaking yet - solving our planet's most life threatening problems.

While peering down on earth from the NASA Space Station, Garan had a life-changing epiphany. He shares, "...the world is at a point where it has the technology and resources to eradicate the problems that plague developing countries. We just have to work together." By founding social enterprise Manna Energy Ltd, Garan is doing just that--pulling from his network of over three million Google+ followers to solve poverty in developing countries through water sanitation and technology.

Working collaboratively is one of the major messages Garan delivers. This is a science he has refined from experiences on the Space Station to starting his own marketing company, Impact CoLab, which focuses on interconnectivity and social media. Other topics Garan is versed in are risk mitigation, long-term corporate development, and innovation.

Ron Garan is enthusiastic about his future with BigSpeak and wants to challenge audiences to take an orbital perspective. Since his pivotal point in outer space, Garan has been out to share that, "Sometimes it's not about doing something better, but doing something radically different."

For more information on acquiring Ron Garan for a speaking engagement, contact BigSpeak at info@bigspeak.com.
