Richard Bland College Extends Application Deadline to May 1st

New application deadline gives prospective students who are unsatisfied with their college prospects a second chance at a top-tier Virginia college or university

RICHMOND, VA, April 12, 2014 (Press-News.org) Richard Bland College of William & Mary, the Commonwealth's premiere residential, two-year College located in Petersburg, has extended its application deadline for the fall 2014 semester to May 1st. The extension comes just as high school seniors are receiving their admission decisions, giving them an additional option for their college future. Richard Bland College seeks to prepare students for university transfer through academically rigorous programs grounded in the liberal arts tradition of William & Mary, making it an excellent opportunity for students to transfer to their first-choice four year college.

"With the competitiveness of the college application process, we decided to extend our application deadline to give our prospective students the additional time they need," said Richard Bland College President Debbie L.
