BOISE, ID, April 15, 2014 (Press-News.org) Bryan Payne, Co-Founder and CEO of Salmon Social, explained why this event was selected for the debut, "It was really chance timing. I met with Jay Larsen, the CEO of the Idaho Technology Council and he suggested this event could be the perfect place to unveil Salmon Social, as it is the premiere technology event in Boise with over 200 people attending. After hearing this, I spoke with my development team and they too became excited and accelerated the app development to make that happen. It's well worth the effort as we couldn't find a better place to showcase Salmon Social to the Boise Tech Community."
The officials at Tech Cocktail look at this as a way to gain exposure for their event, "Tech Cocktail Boise has been one of the largest startup-related events in the valley over the last few years. This is where the Boise tech community comes to check out new innovations, so launching Salmon Social at the event is a fantastic opportunity for everyone involved." Salmon Social plans to release a video showcasing the functionality of the app days before the conference to allow attendees to include them in the vote for Boise's Hottest Showcasing Startup.
A documentary crew is following the journey of Salmon Social.
About Salmon Social
Salmon Social is developing a social app that they believe will be as popular as Facebook and Twitter. The co-founders left their successful careers in Silicon Valley and moved to Boise to build and successfully launch the app in only 90 days. In order for the launch to be successful, they need to rally the support of the entire Treasure Valley to create mass adoption. It's a 90-day journey of the most non-traditional and innovative launch of an app ever attempted and a documentary crew is filming the journey.
