SAN DIEGO, CA, November 18, 2010 (Press-News.org) In a report in Construction Digital Magazine Frank Farmer, President of American Metal Roofs, discusses the company's shift to take the product line and services to go green and implement solar panel roofing systems.
In 2009, American Metal Roofs established Freedom Solar Roofing, a sister company that offers nationwide distribution of a solar roof that generates electricity. "Unlike the older, modular and traditional styles of solar panels that were adhered to roofs and were often ugly had a series of problems; Freedom Solar Roofing's panels offer state-of-the art technology with a 40 year life expectancy," Farmer says.
"These panels can be attached to any section of a home and/or roof and also comes with a 20 year warrantee for any necessary maintenance," he says. "The patented application can also be applied to any style of roof and actually becomes part of the roof. It can't be stolen because it becomes integrated within the building.
