PHILADELPHIA, PA, April 16, 2014 (Press-News.org) Partner Alfred J. Carlson of the Workers' Compensation, Social Security/Long Term Disability and Veterans Benefits law firm of Martin, LLC recently served as a guest lecturer to the Workers' Compensation Class of Villanova Law School professor Hon. Todd B. Seelig.
In his April 8th talk, Carlson focused on the subject of settling a Workers' Compensation case, helping students understand what factors should be considered, including Medicare, Social Security Disability and Subrogation issues.
Carlson has been a litigator in Pennsylvania workers' compensation law since passing the bar in 1992. He lectures extensively in this area of the law and has published numerous articles on the subject. He has served as Co-Chair and legislative liaison for the Philadelphia Bar Association's Workers' Compensation Section and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association.
