ESCALANTE, UT, April 18, 2014 (Press-News.org) Turn-About Ranch celebrates the success of its Christian Track Counseling program, which is designed to help troubled teens connect their recovery to their faith. Located in Escalante, Utah, Turn-About Ranch offers clients a wide range of programs, including academics, therapy, vocational programs, horsemanship, outdoor activities, and others. A working cattle ranch, Turn-About Ranch is also an accredited school.
Turn-About Ranch initiated its Christian Counseling Track program based upon its understanding that faith is an essential aspect for many people's overall well-being, and can be an important element within the optimum recovery of many individuals. The Christian Counseling Track provides Turn-About Ranch students with counseling that is catered towards their individual needs. A certified Christian counselor provides individualized counseling sessions to program participants on a weekly basis.
"Our Christian Counseling Track program gives students the ability to connect their overall recovery to their faith. We are very happy to employ highly qualified professional Christian counseling clinicians who have many years of experience with working with teens," says a Turn-About Ranch representative.
For many years, Turn-About Ranch has provided troubled teens and their families with outstanding residential treatment. Helping teens recover from emotional turmoil and getting them motivated to succeed are goals that Turn-About Ranch has successfully achieved with numerous clients over many years.
The Christian Counseling Track program involves weekly process groups that are based upon the Meier Clinic's "Journey to Joy Workbook". The weekly groups provide students with the opportunity to connect with other groups that help encourage them to grow more confident in themselves. Face-to-face family counseling is another aspect of the Christian Counseling Track. Families are invited to face-to-face counseling sessions with their child at mid-term, before graduation. Phone calls are made to parents on a weekly basis from their loved one's therapist to discuss the progress of their child and go over any necessary parent coaching or therapy.
Turn-About Ranch's Christian Counseling Track also provides weekly church service, biblical pastoral counseling, and service to the community through projects that include working directly with the elderly as well as widows.
The success of Turn-About Ranch's Christian Counseling Track has been extraordinary, with numerous students having made significant progress in their recoveries with the utilization of faith-based counseling in addition to other programs that help strengthen their overall character.
The Christian Counseling Track at Turn-About Ranch is available to any student and has proven highly effective. Involving a supportive team of counselors as well as other Turn-About Ranch staff, the Christian Counseling Track is an exemplary program that provides students and their parents with excellent opportunities to strengthen their recovery through a faith-based program with an emphasis on counseling, process groups, and other elements.
"Many of our students who participate in our Christian Counseling Track have become more devoted to their recovery because of their revitalized faith," says a Turn-About Ranch representative.
Turn-About Ranch is dedicated to ensuring that its Christian Counseling Track program succeeds in providing troubled teens with all of the tools required for an effective and permanent recovery. Whether suffering from trauma, loss, drug addiction or a wide array of other issues, Turn-About Ranch students are given the support, warmth and care that is essential to overcoming their obstacles.
