SAN JOSE, CA, April 23, 2014 (Press-News.org) Solid State Optronics (SSO), a San Jose, California-based manufacturer of high quality optically isolated switching devices such as optocouplers and solid state relays, today introduced a new miniature DC Output Solid State Relay with high continuous load current rating of up to 3.4A.
The SDM4101 is a DC, single-pole, single-throw, normally open solid state relay in a 4-pin single inline package. The SDM4101 provides extremely low on resistance, typically 50mOhms and switches loads up to 60V DC. The combination of low on resistance, compact package outline and high load current capabilities make the SDM4101 a unique SSR solution for motor control, power supply, robotics and consumer appliance applications.
"Today's applications are demanding higher power products in smaller packages," said Juan Kadah, Managing Director of Solid State Optronics USA (SSO). "SSO engineers are continually pushing the boundaries of solid state switching devices, enabling smaller, faster and more powerful applications."
Additional SDM4101 Product Features and Availability
SDM4101 is available now in a SIP4 package, in sample and production quantities and is fully RoHS/Pb-Free/REACH compliant. The device requires low input control power consumption, typically 2mA, and provides a high isolation voltage of 3750Vrms minimum.
Further information and samples are available at http://www.ssousa.com/proddetail.asp?ID=SDM4101
