Radio Show Features Neurofeedback: Recovery's "Secret Weapon"

STUART, FL, April 23, 2014 (Press-News.org) A little known technology called "neurofeedback" can help addicts thrive in recovery and be less likely to relapse.

What neurofeedback is and how it works is the topic of this Thursday's episode of Break the Chains, a groundbreaking new internet radio show broadcast on TalkZone.com.

"When addicts abuse substances, fundamental changes occur in the architecture of the brain," noted show host Gwen Carden. "It simply doesn't look - or behave - the way it once did. Many of the once-functional links and connections that communicated signals efficiently and appropriately are damaged or even destroyed.
