MOSCOW, RUSSIA, April 24, 2014 (Press-News.org) Anaplan today announced the opening of its Eastern European office, based in Moscow, Russia delivering on the promise to provide deeper and more localized service to customers throughout the Russian and Eastern European markets. The company's expansion into Eastern Europe follows recent, dedicated moves into additional international markets including Malaysia, Australia, and New Zealand. Anaplan continues building a strong roster of international customers, including Aviva, Diageo, and HP, who are rapidly turning to Anaplan to replace their legacy business planning systems that don't accommodate the speed and complexity of global processes.
Along with the Eastern Europe office launch, Anaplan is appointing software technology veterans Yuri Rotmanov as Anaplan's Managing Director, Eastern Europe, and Evgeny Velesevich as Sales Manager Russia and CIS.
Anaplan hosted a launch event and customer roundtable at the Digital October Centre, Moscow to celebrate its Eastern European office opening on April 22, 2014. Regional Anaplan customers including Azimut Hotel Group, Financial Group Life (FG Life), and Kimberly-Clark Eastern Europe participated in the event and shared their experiences in implementing the Anaplan platform to transform their financial and operational planning and successfully translate business complexity into actionable decisions with Anaplan's intuitive applications.
"Global demand for Anaplan's in-memory, cloud-based platform has rapidly increased over the last twelve months, and we are already working with multiple large organizations throughout Eastern Europe," said Anaplan CEO Fred Laluyaux. "Our Moscow office serves as a dedicated hub for our customer base throughout the region and better enables us to keep pace with the tremendous interest in Anaplan coming from all four corners of the globe."
Yuri Rotmanov, Anaplan's new Managing Director of the Eastern European region, brings more than 15 years experience in Enterprise Performance Management, Business Intelligence, and Business Analytics, including executive roles at IBM. Rotmanov has extensive experience with competitively launching and positioning new software technologies and SaaS enterprise solutions, leveraging an extensive network of business partners, customers, and sales resources to expand business into Eastern Europe, Russia and the CIS. Evgeny Velesevich contributes with more than 10 years of sales and partner management experience in business analytics and performance management in the region, as well as with intimate knowledge of Russian enterprise and public sector markets.
"Organizations throughout Eastern Europe are increasingly moving away from the monolithic, on-premise ERP implementations toward cloud-based, enterprise solutions such as Anaplan," said Rotmanov. "Our new Eastern European office places Anaplan in the financial heart of the CIS and in a strategic location to serve our regional customers in an even more localized manner."
Anaplan's CEO Fred Laluyaux was present at the formal opening of Anaplan's Eastern European operation in Moscow on Tuesday, April 22. For more information about the opening, please visit https://www.anaplan.com/events/moscow2014/
