Morris R. Treadway Honored for His Financial Acumen

HOUSTON, TX, April 25, 2014 (Press-News.org) Morris Treadway, Vice President of Transformation Solutions & Services at IBM, was recently named a VIP member of Worldwide Branding. This special distinction honors individuals who have shown exceptional commitment to achieving personal and professional success.

Mr. Treadway has 24 years of professional experience, with 10 years as a Vice President in IBM. Over the years, he has established himself as having expertise in finance & cost management, business analytics and process transformation. On a daily basis, he is responsible for directing and overseeing business process outsourcing, business consulting services, application development and management, as well as serving as the global lead for a large industrial global account. Mr. Treadway works to drive business transformation throughout the industry by changing business models and processes leveraging innovative solutions.

Mr. Treadway previously resided in Shanghai and was responsible for leading IBM's financial management consulting practice across Asia-Pacific with a primary focus on China's emerging market. He returned to the United States in 2006 to focus on his role as a global relationship partner. Prior to joining IBM, he was a partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers in the financial management and strategic consulting business practices, gaining the unique experience of working with Coopers & Lybrand and Price Waterhouse prior to their merger.

Looking back, Mr. Treadway attributes his success to his ability to listen and quickly understand business issues and relevant solutions along with a strong commitment to his client's success and relations ultimately resulting in improved business performance. He became involved in his profession after gaining experience in finance and consulting, and deciding to focus on client-oriented roles.

Mr. Treadway received a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Illinois in 1987. In years to come, Mr. Treadway hopes to build upon his global experience and continue expanding his leadership roles to grow services businesses and drive business value for companies.
