Sims says, "I was humbled and so honored that Shadow and Act allowed me to speak about myself and my ad agency, 11:24 Design. I think Shadow and Act is the best web site on the web. I go to Shadow and Act religiously for cinema of the African Diaspora everyday. Shadow and Act knows everything about African Diaspora and then some.

"When I design, I always want to make black people and people of color look exquisite, beautiful. I try to match those experiences and images when I'm working on a project for a film. I try to capture a moment. I read the script and the things I that see and read in the script and the words by the writer. Then I start doing sketches and then I look at images in books and things that I have and try to parallel those images."
