Peacocks in the media as Ireland flagship clothing store opens

Festive season onset and Irish flagship opening combine to make it a big week in the media for Peacocks value clothing chain

GLASGOW, SCOTLAND, November 19, 2010 (Press-News.org) This week Peacocks clothing celebrates some great press coverage prior to Thursday's opening of its flagship store for Ireland. Coverage includes an amazing three separate features in the Belfast Telegraph, more press attention for Pearl Lowe's black lace dress in Grazia and Daily Mirror and strong fashion coverage coming through in the key weekly titles.

In the high circulation national UK title the Daily Mirror, pearl Lowe's black lace prom dress is featured in the High Street Buyer's Guide 'Shop Talk' section, with a picture of the designer's daughter Daisy Lowe modelling a similar garment.

Peacocks clothing had three articles in todays' Belfast Telegraph, the first being about how Pearl Lowe's new collection makes for the perfect party piece, with the gold jersey dress and cream fur coat pictured - looking very glamorous indeed, alongside the sequin black cape, black and white bow dress, leopard print faux fur coat and the Pearl Lowe Tracey Beaded Pleated Dress.

The Belfast Telegraph also carries the story of Peacocks new clothes store in the city, with the headline "Peacocks defies slump with new store opening". The flagship store for Peacocks in Ireland, reports the Telegraph, is set to create a number of jobs in the city, and be opened by Miss Northern Ireland, Lori Moore. The new Peacocks store opening is also covered in the paper's news in brief section.
