PHUKET, THAILAND, November 20, 2010 (Press-News.org) The CloudCamp event will take place on December 22th 2010 at The Academy, Tel Aviv, offering an excellent opportunity for computer whizzes and business heads to exchange ideas about the potential for the cloud in future operations.
CloudCamp, which is a free event facilitated by the help of corporate sponsors who will be providing software services and refreshments on the day, has been labelled an "unconference", using the colloquial term coined to described user driven events that eschew some of the rigidity of the traditional conference scene.
Visitors will be encouraged to network with each other, ask questions and share ideas on the application of the cloud to a wide range of businesses and services.
Guests must pre-register to be guaranteed a place at the event, which will run from 4.30 pm to 9.30 pm.
The programme will include five-minute lightning talks on aspects of the cloud, as well as an "unpanel", where visitors can share expertise with each other.
Lek Boonlert, Head of Marketing at DirectRooms.com, said: "Considering the importance of the cloud to modern business, CloudCamp is likely to be a very popular event, meaning accommodation in Tel Aviv will be in high demand around this time. Delegates attending the CloudCamp should book their Tel Aviv hotels early in order to avoid disappointment."
