National managed project services firm to present new concepts in testing applications and software

2010-11-20
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL, November 20, 2010 (Press-News.org) SkillStorm, a national IT solutions and managed project services firm, today announced that it will be hosting a test automation webinar. The webinar will be held on Thursday, December 9, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. CST and will be hosted by Glen Noesen, SkillStorm Vice President of Project Solutions.

The webinar, entitled "Testing the Speed of Business," will discuss and demonstrate a testing and acceleration platform for Hewlett Packard QTP and Microsoft. Presenters will discuss topics such as eliminating the testing bottleneck that prevents the timely release of high-quality software and transforming the testing cycle to become a strategic part of the systems development lifecycle. The webinar will also show attendees how speed and efficiency in test cycles can reduce project budgets, reduce project risks and increase the productivity of current testing resources.

"IT executives are under tremendous pressure to meet tighter deadlines, reduce costs and improve overall performance with fewer resources than ever before. This webinar will discuss the key steps to proactive test acceleration, performance management and transforming your software testing organization from a cost center to a profit center. This important breakthrough in software testing allows our clients to focus their limited technical resources where they should be — developing systems," said Glen Noesen, SkillStorm Vice President of Project Solutions.

This SkillStorm webinar is open to the public and is offered at no charge. Those interested in attending can register for the webinar by visiting http://www.skillstorm.com/Webinar/12.09.10. All attendees will automatically be entered in a drawing to receive a web-based proof of concept which will provide additional information about SkillStorm testing tools and services that can help develop automated test scripts.
