Ooh La La Dessert Boutique Teams Up With Toys for Tots

Donate a new, unwrapped toy at either of Ooh La La's two locations and receive a free jumbo cupcake.

KATY, TX, November 21, 2010 (Press-News.org) Ooh La La Dessert Boutique is spreading the cupcake joy this holiday season with their second annual Toys for Tots "Sweetening the Lives of Others" toy drive. The program benefits less fortunate children by gifting brand new toys donated to the cause. Drop off a new, unwrapped toy at Ooh La La's just-opened headquarters at 20155 Park Row in Katy, or their original store at 23920 Westheimer Parkway, between November 27 and December 15. Gift-givers will receive their own sweet treat...a FREE jumbo cupcake.

"Last year was such a huge success that we decided to extend the promotion another week," says owner and pastry chef Vanessa O'Donnell. "And now with our second location open, through the generosity of our customers, our hopes are to collect twice the amount of toys."

To participate, drop off a new, unwrapped toy valued at $10 or greater and receive a signature cupcake of your choice. Toys must be in their original packaging; toy guns and weapons are not accepted. Donations can be dropped off at Ooh La La's new location at 20155 Park Row in Katy, or Cinco Ranch store at 23920 Westheimer Parkway. Toys will be given to less fortunate children during the holiday season through the US Marine Corp Reserve Toys for Tots program.
