TENBY, WALES, November 24, 2010 (Press-News.org) People looking to improve their culinary skills in the run-up to Christmas could find the perfect event at Picton Castle next month.
The Pembrokeshire attraction - a popular spot among people staying in the hotels Tenby has to offer - is due to host a Cookery Masterclass on Sunday December 12th.
Resident food expert Maria will be showing attendees how to make delicious Christmas canapes with a Mediterranean flair for the festive party season.
According to tourism authority Visit Pembrokeshire, the event is expected to be "hugely entertaining as well as informative".
The organisation added: "Those who went to last year's Maria Masterclasses were amazed at how easy it is to produce fantastic food with little effort."
After the class, visitors can sit down to enjoy a two-course meal with wine in the castle restaurant - a treat that is included in the price.
Tickets cost GBP25 and people are advised to book if they plan to attend, as places are limited.
The event is due to run between 11:00 and 14:30 GMT.
Situated near Haverfordwest, Picton Castle was built in the late 13th century and is still inhabited by the descendents of Sir John Wogan, the building's original owner.
