Each week, MOMZ IN THE MIX aims to discover and highlight powerhouse celebrity moms and mompreneurs as well as everyday moms that dare to do it differently and think outside the box.
Created by Angelyna Martinez with the idea that there is more to motherhood than meets the eye, MOMZ IN THE MIX focuses on nurturing the woman inside the mother, be it working moms, single moms, or stay-at-home moms. Brought together with business partner Mari Deno through their daughter's friendship, Martinez started MOMZ IN THE MIX through her love for motherhood and music after years as a successful professional singer and producer, performing at Madison Square Garden, Radio City Music Hall and Lollapalooza. Meanwhile, Deno's fun and engaging attitude have earned her hosting experience on networks such as E! and DirecTV before joining as a collaborator on MOMZ IN THE MIX. Together, the two manage the website and its content firsthand, producing, directing, editing, and uploading all the material, original episodes, and content themselves. What sets the site apart from others is their MOMPORIUM, where Angelyna & Mari give their stamp of approval on the coolest products beneficial to moms via a visual mommercial.
According to Martinez, the website exists "to encourage moms to be the best that they can be - by giving back to and staying true to yourself. As moms, we are constantly multi-tasking and running ourselves to the ground. This is a guilt-free haven where you can get real, ask questions, have a laugh, learn something, and express yourself.
