BILBAO, SPAIN, December 04, 2010 (Press-News.org) Fans of Spanish tenor Alfredo Kraus have the chance to honour his memory with a tribute concert in Bilbao.
It is the tenth show that the Euskalduna Conference Centre and Concert Hall has organised to celebrate the late performer's work and it will take place on December 30th 2010.
Hotel Bilbao guests will have the chance to enjoy a varied concert, with music ranging from The Blue Danube by Johan Strauss to Mille Cherubini in Coro by Franz Schubert.
The night is held as a tribute to Alfredo Kraus, a Spaniard of Austrian descent who sang well into his 70s thanks to the care that he took to look after his voice.
He was widely-acclaimed for the quality of his technique and performed all over the world during his long career, but passed away in 1999 after battling illness.
Admission for this concert costs between EUR18 (GBP15.10) and EUR55 depending on where attendees want to sit in the venue, with the action kicking off at 20:00 local time.
The show will last for approximately 140 minutes, but there will be an interval.
Proceedings will be conducted by Jose Antonio Sainz Alfaro, with sopranos Vanessa Goikoetxea and Ainhoa Zuazua performing on the night.
For more information on this event, visit the Euskalduna website or contact the venue on +34 944 310 310.
