MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA, December 04, 2010 (Press-News.org) GO Markets is pleased to announce the upgrade and replacement of their servers to a new state of the art technology. In light of the growing need for faster and more efficient systems, GO Markets have made the investment and move to a dedicated rack server system. Paul Hill - Managing Director of GO Markets commented on the upgrade and what it would mean for clients.
"...We believe in providing our clients with the most up to date and efficient systems available. The new state of the art HP hardware, will allow for faster processing time, and ultimately faster execution, ensuring that our clients do not have any lag time. GO Markets is continually looking to provide the most comprehensive and up to date tools and services for clients. The new technology upgrade will in our opinion provide us with a significant edge over our competitors."
Clients will have access to our servers through a co-location facility, which will enhance both speed and reliability. Upon opening Metatrader, the software will automatically choose the right server with the fastest response time. This will give traders the distinct executing edge. The biggest part of the upgrade: We have moved our main trading servers to Sydney and have placed them in the Global Switch Co-Location Building. In the event of an outage due to a failure of an undersea cable or accidental dig up, GO Markets clients will not be affected as the system will automatically route to an alternative carrier.
With the META platform we have also activated a backup server option, which mirrors the live trading servers. In the event of live server failure trades can be automatically switched to the backup server. GO Markets has invested in new backup servers that are identical to the new main trading server. With the introduction of these new systems and state of the art technology, GO Markets now provides the ultimate in speed of transaction, and the most reliable trading service technically available today.
