The Lifespring! Why Christmas Podcast Celebrates 5th Year with a Special Recording of the Christmas Story

The Christmas Podcast, the Lifespring! Why Christmas Show returns for a 5th year in 2010 and will feature a version of the Christmas Story recorded for the show. The show is hosted by podcaster Steve Webb and James Cooper a Christmas expert.

SOMERSET, ENGLAND, December 06, 2010 (Press-News.org) This is the fifth year that The Lifespring! Why Christmas Show, a transatlantic Christmas podcast that brings festive fun and information to your MP3 Player and computer. It is hosted by podcasting pioneer and voiceover artist Steve Webb, of the Lifespring! podcasts, and the UK based Christmas expert James Cooper of the Christmas information website www.whychristmas.com. The podcast shares information on a range of Christmas traditions and customs, Christmas music and the history behind the Christmas Story throughout December. This year the Lifespring! WhyChristmas Show has recorded a dramatic version of the Christmas Story especially for the podcast and James' website. The cast features voiceover artists Bob Souer, Dave DeAndrea, Anthony Gettig and Natalie Nicole Gilbert; Dove award winning recording artist Bryan Duncan, Kenny Metcalf keyboardist for 1980s Christian glam rock super band Stryper; former Miss Louisiana, actress and singer Karmyn Tyler; as well as fellow podcasters Ron Ploof, Ron Stroope and 'RevTim' Tim Holm along with Steve and James.

When asked about the new version of the story, James Cooper of whychristmas.com, who plays King Herod said, "This is a very exciting project. I've wanted to have a version of the Christmas Story recorded for my website and also being able to use it on the podcast is wonderful. It's been great having the vocal talents of such respected voiceover artists, musicians and podcasters on the story. I'm sure it will add something special to the Lifespring! WhyChristmas Show this year."

In a recent interview, Steve Webb, host of the Lifespring! family of podcasts stated, "It's always great fun to produce the Lifespring! WhyChristmas Show with James.
